The Fender Acoustasonic Tele® was selected as a “Gotta Stock It” product at Best In Show, a NAMM University educational session held Jan. 17 in Anaheim, Calif.

Best In Show featured six panelists––representing single-store operations, small- to mid-sized chains and one of the industry’s top trade magazines––who offered views on the best companies, products and services they saw during the NAMM Show.

“Basically, it’s an electric guitar; it’s an acoustic guitar,”. “But it’s in the beautiful Telecaster form. This is the guitar for the gigging musician who needs an electric and an acoustic but doesn’t want to haul them both around. The body is chambered, it has a rosewood bridge. But at the core, it has Fishman’s Aura technology and an under-saddle piezo pickup. I found the acoustic sounds to be really convincing. They sounded like a really solid plugged-in acoustic with a great pickup.” well this was after a few of the American beers and a bloody mary.

But check it out.

I am going to test drive the Zoom Q3 handy video recorder while i am in Los Angeles and visiting the NAMM show. Check it out. So damn easy to handle. I think?
So i will post some clips here soon as well.
After the show days i am staying in L.A for a couple of days with my friends Magnus Axx and Mikkey Dee.
It´s going to be great!

A couple of days ago we smashed our last PC, ever!
And we got ourselves a Mac. I never used one before as i was hanging on to the PC.
It´s GREAT. even the box it came in was better. so now i am learning this the hard way.
Leaving for the US on Wednesday. Meeting with Fender at Namm on Friday.
I´ll write about it and i will take a lot of photos there.
see you soon.

Jonas and the NAMM show.

Today i am going to meet with Jonas Almqist (the leather nun) for a few hours.
He has written a couple of song for me that i wanna check, and maybe finish them together with him.
Why, you wonder? I tell you soon. Very soon! I just love his music. everything is great.

I am also a bit cranked up about going to the NAMM show in Los Angeles in a week or so.
Never been to the NAMM show but from all that i have heard i think it wil be awesome cool.
Checking out new products from all different guitar, amps and etc manufacturers. I especially want to try to meet with my all time fav guitar player.. Eddie Van Halen.
i have never been star struck but i am not sure i will be able to even ask for an autograph before fainting like a young girl meeting the very handsome Paul Mccartney 1965.
Oh and by the way, if you find spelling errors or so here in my blog. Dont you forget that i am Swedish and was never in school.

UFC 108

Last night at 04.00 the great ufc 108 was aired live. Rashad Evans - Thiago Silva.

I recorded it on my harddrive and i am going to enjoy it in a minute.

04.00 is a bit to late/early for me these days.

The UFC is the best damn sport next to Football/Soccer.

Attitude, strenght, technique and stamina. And most important..Heart!

Much like guitar playing!

I´ve been a dedicated follower of The UFC for some time now and i totally love it.

A new year. I think it will be great.

Wife and me did the festivs at our friend Nikke "lipstick" Ström and wife Hege´s amazing place.

Pretty calm evening. We watched the great Black Crowes dvd "Cabin Fever".

A live recording w/audience at Levon Helms studios, Woodstock,NewYork.
It was very inspiring and they sound a bit like the band all of a sudden. Thats not a bad thing at all cuz i think Singer Robinson´s voice is so much better than anyone in The Band.
check it out. probably old news anyway...
I have been hanging in my studio quite a bit lately. I am learning more and more everyday.
Its a bit difficult to crasp everything when you are used to the "old way" of recording. ANALOG.
We did 2" tape recordings for all of hcss albums up to the black album. tape recorder as big as two freezers. and it used to belong to ABBA? I remember us having amps and guitars from the 50`s and 60`s lined up as a wall. there must have been stuff for a couple of mill. not ours offcurse.
Really old Ludwig drums and Dano basses, i even recorded two tracks with Paul Rodgers Gibson Les Paul 1958. It is the guitar on "Thank you (for letting us be ourselfes) cover photo by the way! Can you believe it? Today....GUITAR RIG!!!!!
